hii. hell yeah, i'm finally eighteen. celebrated my birthday yesterday, on the thirteenth of july. and now i'm finally legal to do whatever i want. hehe. =). but it doesn't really matter anyway since we all know that i am a very good girl and that i will not do anything dumb. anyway, i just really want to thank everyone who made my day. u guys rock. to shaegan and pui mun who called me all the way from kl as well as to mandy who called from singapore. love you guys very much. and erm, to those who wished me through friendster, sms and msn. thanks lots. oh, and not to forget my beloved bunch of nuts here. ching, koi, iylia, gav, jack, chris and jon. u guys are the ultimate la. really treasure our friendship and i hope that we remain friends forever. thanks for the lovely presents and the yummy dinner. and especially the 'wonderful' surprise at 12 a.m. sharp. i was really touched. by the cake and all. and i still managed to enjoy myself eventhough you guys totally got me drenched in water and messed up my apartment. haha. i'm really thankful that we've somehow managed to become really great friends and i will always remember and cherish our memories together. hehe. here are some of the presents i recieved.

from them. thanks for always being there for me. friends always and forever yeah?

from koi. apparently she bought it from kl and carried it all the way here. heart you forever bitch.

yit ming. i'm really glad we got over what happened and came out of it still friends. not as close as before but friends nonetheless. hehe.

its a fan from china. lol. thanks viv. really great having a friend like you. hope to get to know you better.

from jon yong. my 7-11. hehe. thanks man!

omg. thankss so much jon. i love it soo much. i swear i was speechless when i opened the card. and that's a rare thing. hehe.

a closer upper view. two tickets to the all american rejects concert. hell yeah man. i can't waitt! =)

so yeah. left kl on saturday night and arrived at melbourne on sunday morning, the 25th of june. was damn tired after eight sleepless and very uncomfortable hours on the plane. none of us sat together as the flight was fully-booked and there were no extra seats left. but i didn't really mind as i got a window seat and was sitting next to some sweet old lady. i like her. she's so nice and motherly and we were talking for quite a bit about all the random stuff. haha. she was telling me about how she so carelessly left her key on the luggage lock and about how she was feeling scared that someone might open her luggage and steal some very impotant documents. oh, and i couldn't help myself from taking some pretty pictures.

ok. so this is either kl or melbourne from above. i swear.

and i'm pretty darn sure that's melbourne down there.

a clearer view of melbourne. so pretty. i like.

i find this so amusing. hehe. who would have thought. a rolls royce plane. tee hee. yesh, i'm easily amused.

oh, and on the night before i left kl, that's the 23rd of june, jessy and the rest had a surprise farewell/early birthday party for me. so sweet. this time, i really didn't see it coming. haha. yeah, unlike the last surprise farewell party they had for me over at my house. hehe. thanks so much you guys. especially jessy. love and miss you guys lots. i really had a blast. initially, i thought we were just gonna go to hartamas for one last dinner together. just us girls. so yeah. jessy and pui mun came over to my house to pick me up. then jessy said that she wanted to go home and change. so yeah, whatever. when we got to her house, she asked me to come in cause she wanted to show me something funny. if i'm not mistaken, something that sung wrote about me on her school year book. random much? heh. so i went in. went upstairs and all that jazz. then she asked me to pick between her room and her sister's room. this part's really confusing and funny. i guess you just had to be there to get it. so yeah, anyway, opened jessy's room door and sitting down inside were ben, aaron, natalie lim, choon yauw and how liong. was quite surprised la. but actually, i kinda figured it out when both jess and pui mun ask me to choose between the two doors. so anyway, i thought that was it but then they ask me to try and open the other door again. because it was locked the first time i tried to open it. so i did. and out popped keat boon, ding shyong and ding nern. that one really surprised me. cause i didn't think jessy would invite them. then after that, more people started arriving. like zhi ven, cheng haw, justin, ee yang and jun win.

so yeah. we had dinner there and all. and they tried to make me drink alcohol but i wasn't in the mood for it. i think i'm so over drinking after that incident during ching's birthday. haha. so yeah, i stuck to good ol' ribena. had so much fun catching up with everyone, reminiscing about the past and basically just chilling. hehe. thanks so much you guys for coming. eventhough it was so far away. can't wait to see you all in december. oh, and to jessy, pui mun and how liong. thanks so much for the present. i really like it. love loads.

hii. had such a great time yesterday. just chilling and catching up with my beloved 5m nuts. reminiscing bout the past. omg, i miss them so much. i didn't even realise until yesterday. hehe. all the sampatness, the nonstop laughter, the countless camwhoring shots and the weird inside sarcasm jokes. hell yeah. it was just like old times.

followed seah min ken to wms around 1. thanks dear for putting up with all my noise and my yummy food. hehe. yesh, you really are a very nice and sweet guy. uh-huh. seriously la. giggles. gosh, i really miss those spm times when we would go to and back from school together. laughing and arguing like nobody's business. oh, and who could forget the lovely kajang satay we would have on our way home in sungai buloh. hehe. so yeah. met up with all the other nuts back at school. haha. on the way to school, keat boon called and ask where we were. i said in sentul la. then he asked which part of sentul. then i was like erm, i'm not sure but i can see the twin towers and the kl tower. haha. turned out min ken n i were actually on jalan kuching. lol. sorry la. typical me. you have to understand. hehe. but i know you do. so chilled around until school let out. collected our yearbooks as well as talked to a few teachers and juniors. went for an interact board meeting. haha. it was actually more like a gossip session. haha. the form 5s these days. but i enjoyed. =) hehe. left school for mv around 3.30?

omg. followed gan kok shen's car. and we almost died. twice. yesh, u read correctly. dude, your driving scares the crap out of me la. the first time, he almost hit the poles in the middle of the road. the one intersecting the road to bangsar and i think another road to the city. shiit wei. cause we were suppose to cut through to bangsar. but we found the signboard for bangsar a tad too late. initially, kok shen tried to cut through the lanes. luckily the boy was smart enough to realise that we couldn't make it in time thus swerving back into our original lane. whoah. i bet if he kept going, we would have definitely crashed. con-de-firm. the second time was during a traffic jam. i think we were camwhoring. then i think he was a bit the blur la. almost crashed into the proton saga directly in front of us. but thankfully, we managed to make it to mv in one piece. although i think it was because we prayed. haha. yeah, after almost getting into two accidents and passing by one totally smashed up red kancil, we decided to pray. i swear. dangerous driver la that boy. and he blames it on me. so much for perlahan-lahan driving right? haha. but we had fun nontheless. laughing and camwhoring like mad.

watched love undercover 3. seriously retarded show. there was no plot and no ending. it was soo incredulously dumb. at the end, we were just like whaat? dee was like apa ni apa ni. haha. had dinner at chillis. as usual la. i swear we were soo noisy, it was just unbelievable. like dee mentioned in her blog and i quote sixteen ex-5m students causing havoc in chillis. only one word to describe it. awesome-ness. i miss 5m tres alot la. hope we do meet up again before i leave. hehe. pictures will be up soon. when i get them la, that is. hehe. zomg. brought my camera but it died in the middle of dinner. crap la. i hope it's not spoilt. crosses fingers. it's not even that old. less than a year? pfft.

football. ahh. germany vs. argentina. and germany won. wonderful la. tee hee.

Monday, June 05, 2006 @10:59 PM

yesh yesh. i've finally found the time to blog. =) uh-huh. omg, i swear it's been far too long since i last blogged. one month, i think. sorry sorry. but then again, it's not really technically my fault. i mean, what with the crappy internet connection over at arrows and my term 2 exams coming up. so yeah. but at least now, my exams are freaking finally over. after long last. omg, i feel soo relieved and liberated. hell yeah. no more late nights studying, no more doing silly maths problems and basically no more stress. or at least, for the next two weeks. hopefully, i didnt do too badly and all my hard work pays off for when i get back my results. but, enough about that already. oh, have i mentioned, it's currently winter in melbourne. yesh yesh. it has been since the first of june. and apparently, it's strangely extra cold this year compared to all the other years. according to everyone, that is. but yeah. i swear, the weather's freaking horrible. it's just way too cold and windy. it's so cold to the point that it's even foggy here at times. blah. but i guess it definitely beats the weather back in kl. haha. hands down. so i really shouldn't complain right?

oh, and guess what. i'm finally back in kl. uh-huh. for only two weeks though. so make sure you guys keep your dates free, yeah? haha. can't wait to see everyone. especially my beloved 5m nuts. can't wait to see them on friday. i swear, i've been so deprived of all the lastest movies. i think mi3 was the last movie i've watched. yeah, i am that outdated. but mi3 was good. i think i watched it with jon. oh, yeah, i did. and it wasnt shown in a normal cinema-like place. it was at some smaller room, where everyone just sat on super huge bean bags. so that was fun. eh, wait. i just remembered. i watched stay alive on monday with jess and pui mun. "if you die in the game, you die for real." omg, i swear i was covering my eyes like 3/4 of the movie. even though it was just another typical scary movie, nonetheless i was still totally freaked out. omg, i freaking hate watching thillers and horror movies. and yet, somehow whenever i go out with jess and pui mun, they always manage to drag me to go watch whichever scary movie that's showing. wonderful friends i have la. haha. but i still tres love you guys. i think the only good thing about stay alive is that sophia bush, samaire armstrong, jon foster and frankie muniz were in it. so that's hot. but i still really really want to watch tokyo drift. i think i might go watch it tomorrow with my trinity friends. since all the people back here have watched it. pfft.

i'm now going to watch my smallville season 4. byee.

Sunday, May 28, 2006 @9:28 PM

hiii. so this weekend wasn't too bad. here's a quick recap on what i did.

let's see. woke up at around 11 on saturday. ate lunch over at subway.they had this 'buy one, get one free' promo thingy going on. so that was cool. after that, we headed off to the library to do our hoi essay. omg, have i mention how much i hate doing assignments? i seriously can't wait until the second term holidays. anyway, stayed there for about 3 to 4 hours? the guys decided to leave earlier so that they could go play dota. got damn tired after awhile so we, or rather ching n i persuaded koi to leave. tee hee. sorry dear. then we all went home. oh, n i had subway again for dinner. somehow, i just never get sick of it. hehe. oh, and at night, we went to watch x-men : the last stand. i found it quite good. really enjoyed it. i mean, what's not to like? there were both hot guys and cool action scenes in it. nice nice. i give it two thumbs up. oh, and to those who haven't seen it yet, make sure you all stay to watch the small little scene that comes on after the credits. after the movie, we decided to go play foosball at charlton over at china town. i think we played until like 3 ish? hehe. it was just so fun that i didn't really realise how late it was.

today, i woke up around 2. tried to do some reading for hoi but somehow i just couldn't concentrate. anyway, went off to planetshakers city church. it was awesome. the music, the atmosphere, the worship, just everything. =) wow. yeah, it's that good. oh, and their new album is finally out. so make sure u all pick it up. had so much fun. seriously. but it was raining when we wanted to go home. so we had to walk on the wet ground. n i was wearing flipflops. yuck. i swear i hate getting my feet all wet. it just irritates me. pfft.

anyway, i'm off to sleep now. nitee.

Wednesday, May 24, 2006 @9:42 PM

me and koi went shopping again yesterday. =) bought two tops; one from mng and the other from fornarina. nice nice. i like very much. but quite expensive la. spent about AUD 120. but koi thinks it's considered quite reasonable because the original price for the top from fornarina was like AUD 200? it was slashed down by 50% when i bought it. oh, and apparently fornarina is some italian designer brand. omg, i swear their jackets are soo nice. but freaking expensive la. haha. oh, and i finally went to watch da vinci's code. we decided to watch it late last night. the show ended at like 1 ish in the morning. and i had class this morning at 9. but nonetheless, i enjoyed it alot. very very nice. i give it 2 thumbs up. i didn't really read the book. i mean i did but i stopped at the part when robert langdon and the girl went over to the other guy's house to find out more about the holy grail. but i still managed to understand most of the movie. apparently it's quite different from the book.

oh, and today, there was an autumn music concert at trinity. quite cool. some of the bands were really good. but HiH still rocks the best. HiH consists of iylia, gavin and eugene. apparently it was a really last minute thing. like they only decided they were going to join the concert like 2 or 3 hours before it started. and they still managed to own the other bands big time. or to put it as iylia would, they were beyond godlike. haha. they sang two songs, tak setiakan hati by dygta and hero by enrique iglesias. and they dedicated it to me, koi and ching. aww. we love you guys too. eventhough their singing was not that good, nonetheless they still performed it really sportingly and they were just plain funny. me, koi and ching were practically screaming our lungs out cheering for them.

anyway, i'm gonna go sleep now. have to wake up early tomorrow to do either my hoi essay or catch up on my econs exercises. i hate econs la. somehow i just can't seem to understand anything. or maybe it's just because i'm always too tired during lectures and thus cannot pay attention to the teacher. blah.

Sunday, May 21, 2006 @11:47 PM

okay. so i know i really shouldn't be blogging right now. but what the heck right? for one thing, it definitely beats doing my eap assignment. actually, i'm pretty sure alot of other things are way more fun doing compared to finishing boring assignments. shiit. i just totally realised that i'm going to be super busy over the next few weeks, being buried under a freaking huge pile of assignments. let's see.

22/5 - eap written assignment term 2
2/6 - hoi essay
5/6 - drama monologue exam (yesh, believe it. there is even a drama exam.)
12/6 - accounting february essay #1
17/6 - term 2 exams

those are the due dates for all my major assignments for this term. so please do me a favour and just kill me now. =) on a good note, i'll be flying back to kl on the 24/6. yesh yesh. that's definitely something to look forward to. i mean, what's not to anticipate? i'll get to see my family, catch up with old friends, shop till i drop and eat till i pop. see, it even rhymes. lol. omg, i'm getting so lame it's not even funny.

anyway, here's a flashback on my weekend. so yesterday, we decided to take a train down to chapel street because we were so in need for some retail therapy. it was really fun. although we had to wait damn freaking long for everyone to arrive before we could finally leave. yeah. instead of leaving at 12 as originally planned, we ended up leaving around 2 ish. and to top it off, the weather was damn freaking cold plus i was wearing a skirt. pfft. so yeah, took a train but ended up at the wrong stop. somehow we ended up at some small little deserted town where the houses still had cute little chimneys. haha. so took another train and after long last we arrived at chapel street. it was damn nice there la. hmm, something like orchard road in singapore. shopping heaven. although instead of shopping malls, there were little shops. yeah. imagine, a really long street filled with rows after rows of shops. so i managed to buy two bags; one in gold and another in metallic blue, this really cute pair of sneakers from playboy and a hairband. all in all, i think i spent around AUD 150? not too bad la. considering that the last time i actually went shopping was during the term 1 holidays? so yeah, i'm a very happy and satisfied girl. =)

and today, i woke up at around 2. haha. don't ask why. so i went down to koi's place and we decided to get started on our eap assignment which is due this week. but as usual, we just couldn't concentrate. first, we decided that we were hungry. so koi cooked us some lunch/tea. we just sat there eating udon mee while watching this 'my date with the president's daughter' show on tv. after that, it was back to our assignment. until we came up with the excuse that it was too cold and we didn't have any inspiration to continue. therefore, we decided to take a little break. how conveniently smart of us. so anyway, we decided to make cute little clay heads. haha. they were actually meant as presents for koi's little sisters. oops. but at least we left them the 'make your own teddy bears' kit right? for now that is. =)

say hii to my new little friend, levonne.

after we were done and satisfied with decorating our little friends, we agreed to continue doing our boring assignment. for a short while la at least. until koi decided she was hungry and therefore proclaimed that it was time for dinner. so she decided to take a tram to the city and take away some yummy vietnamese beefball noodles for us. thanks koi. haha. to sum it up, i would say today was quite a productive day. seriously. after all, we did manage to complete about three quarters of our assignment. =) i think koi might even had finished the entire thing.

oh, and i finally finished watching most of my veronica mars cds. i swear it's a damn good show. definitely worth watching. yeah. and i have also finally watched the finale for season 3 of the o.c.. not as good as i would have expected. but alright nontheless. i still think one tree hill's season finale's the best. compared to veronica mars and the o.c.. but now that all the shows have ended for this season, i have seriously nothing to watch. why la why. the oh-so-smart producers just had to start filming all the tv series at the same time so that when all the shows have end for that season, there's this super huge space in between the next season of that show with utterly nothing to do. pfft. well, at least as a consolation, i'll be able to concentrate solely on school and not be easily distracted by watching too much tv series. for the next few months at least. until season 4 of the o.c. and one tree hill as well as season 3 of veronica mars start showing again.

oh, and about two or three weeks ago, i decided to buy some posters to decorate my apartment with. although most of them are of the o.c. tee hee.

the guys bought this for me a few moths ago. somehow, they were being really nice that day and decided to buy us girls a poster each. naturally, i got the o.c.. =) thanks guys. i heart all of you very much.

the o.c. totally rocks my colourful socks.

stay out or i'll bite. nah, just kidding. seriously.

the other o.c. poster i bought is still not hanged up due to my laziness as well as my lack of free time to do so. anyway, it's late and i'm really tired. so good night and sweet dreams. oh, and i do apologise beforehand if i stop posting for awhile. sorry sorry. but what with my assignments and all.

Sunday, May 14, 2006 @1:47 AM

so today was a slow day. woke up at about 1 ish. watched a bit of veronica mars. good show good show. everyone should watch it at least once. confirm can get addicted to it. yeap. and after that, jon and i decided to drag out butts off to the melbourne uni baillieu library to do some research for our hoi essay. managed to photocopy some stuff so that's good. left the library after like 20 minutes. haha. what a waste of time. all in all, it was a really boring day. yawns. anyway, i'm not really in the mood to blog. so i'll just post a few of the pictures we took yesterday at big noise. enjoy!
